Phase 1 // Origin story

Built by bikes.
Driven forward.

Phase 1 began with motorcycle repair work, expanded onto the road and evolved into a connected Cape Town operation spanning workshop, courier and parts support.

Workshop DNA

It started
with the machine.

The story begins in 1995 with Bassies Bike Repairs. The foundation was hands-on motorcycle work: understanding the machine, solving real problems and helping riders get back on the road.

That mechanical knowledge later became the support layer behind a dedicated courier operation. By combining people who understand the workshop with people who understand the road, the business developed a point of view that is practical from both sides.

The integrated model

Every system
strengthens the next.

The value is not only in offering three services. It is in what each part of the business teaches the others.

WORKSHOP → ROAD

Mechanical insight

Workshop experience supports the courier motorcycles that work in real daily conditions.

ROAD → WORKSHOP

Operating reality

Courier work provides a constant view of the wear and demands motorcycles face on the road.

PARTS → BOTH

Sourcing context

Parts knowledge connects repair requirements with the exact machine and component details.

One purpose

Keep people, bikes
and business moving.

The workshop, courier operation and parts network all exist for the same practical outcome: helping movement continue.

How Phase 1 works

Practical first.
Always motorcycle.

The business is shaped by real bikes, real roads and real operational needs—not theory.

CONTEXT

Listen for the signal

The right answer begins by understanding what the rider or business is actually experiencing.

CLARITY

Define the next step

Useful information and direct communication turn an unclear problem into a practical action.

MOTION

Reduce downtime

Every service line points toward the same result: more movement and less avoidable waiting.
